Assisting individuals through employment counselling and coaching to identify their strengths and goals, develop skills and achieve success in the ever changing labour market through the development of a result focused employment/ career plan and job search and retention skills.

Services offered are designed to meet the individual needs of the job seeker and can involve access to information and resources, job search workshops, professional employment counselling and coaching, resume development, job placement and job retention services. Employment Networks provides employment services to the communities of Renfrew, Cobden, Calabogie, East Whitewater Region and surrounding areas. All services are professional, confidential and free.

Client Service (Assignment Co-ordinator) at ParaMed in Renfrew

Under the direction of the Operations Manager and/or Coordination Supervisor, the Client Service Coordinator will act as the primary point of contact for clients and field staff, offering assistance with all matters relating to the delivery of quality care as outlined in the client care plan.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of post-secondary education is required. Completion of Medical Office Administration course or medical terminology training will be an asset.
  • Two (2) years’ administrative or office experience is required.
  • Advanced software skills are required, software scheduling experience is also an asset.
  • Superior customer service skills are necessary.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both through oral and written mediums.
  • Demonstrate compassion, tact and diplomacy when interacting with clients and their families.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure with changing priorities and short deadlines, and effectively handle a heavy workload.
  • Minimum of two (2) years related work experience preferably working in a healthcare environment.
  • Bilingualism is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond professionally and courteously to calls and electronic communication from funders, employees, clients and families.
  • Document and appropriately report and escalate complaints and incidents related to employees and clients.
  • Action all employee book-offs for current day and within 48-hour period.
  • Initiate all Event Trak entries. All entries must include the employee and client.
  • Maintain effective communication with new clients’ main contact to review client schedules and provide contact information for future communication.
  • Inform clients about any schedule changes and vacation fill-ins, and reschedule any client cancellations with the client’s main contact when possible.
  • Convey excellence in customer service, phone etiquette, and professionalism.
  • Adhere to the ParaMed policies in all interactions with clients, families or other parties ensuring privacy and confidentiality.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Scheduled Hours of Work:

  • Candidates must be able to work varying shifts – Monday to Friday 2 pm-10 pm or 4 pm-9pm and every 2nd weekend from 8 am-8pm and eventually 10 am-10-pm

Looking for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with people, has good organization skills and is physically fit.

Duties will include preparation and clean up for park events and activities, some light maintenance such as painting, washroom maintenance, grass cutting, watering and weeding flower beds, possible relief help in our store and any other duties that may arise.

3 to 4 days per week, likely Thursday - Saturday, Sunday on long weekends. Hours would vary depending on park activities.
