All About Me (You) – A Journey in Self-Awareness

By completing introspective and thought provoking self-assessment questionnaires/quizzes you will become aware of your personal values, interests, abilities and strengths. In addition, during the workshop you will have the opportunity to complete an Emotional Intelligence or EQ Test which measures personal and social competencies that manage and regulate your own emotions, and the emotions of those around them. Knowing who you are is the first step in knowing what you want to do and where you want to work.

Know Your Personal Skill Set

Identifying your skills is important for people making career choices and change. Many people have difficulty understanding the different types of skills that they possess. Through this workshop we look at the three major types of skills; personal, job/work-related and transferable. The personal skills are the ones you use every day to survive and thrive. Job/work-related skills are the skills that are related to a particular job or type of job. Transferable skill are very important general skills that can be used in a variety of different jobs; the skills you possess and didn’t know you had. This workshop will give you a better understanding of the different types of skills and help you determine where your strengths lie and how they can be used towards employment.
